Yes, Zippy was with us for only a brief 24 hours. I don't know why she died. I had the tank running for over a week and made sure the water was perfect before I got any fish. :( Oh well.
Sometimes they just can't handle it.
When I first met you Cap, I got Intellifish. Regan and I bought him as a friendship fish. He was a black moor, but really he was more gray than black. Anyway, I had him for two days before he died. Luckily I bought him at Wal-Mart, and they take anything back!
But I'm sorry about Zippy. She seemed rad.
