Council - Mute Chair

I realize I gave collaborative design group Council a bit of a hard one in the previous post. To make up for it, I'm singing their praises over this chair. It's beautifully designed and looks ergonomic enough to give birth in. I'll take it!

The Mute chair is designed to inspire serenity and calm. The simple, uninterrupted lines flow gently around the fully upholstered seat; the simple base is made of powder-coated steel. Seats, upholstered in 100% wool fabric, come in Charcoal, White, Blue and Red.

Best of Dwell: Kitchens

Nothing gets me going more than a slideshow, especially a slideshow of sexy, modern kitchens! Brady and I have been staring down the barrel of an inevitable kitchen remodel for a while now, so finding kitchen inspiration has become something of a hobby. My Modern Christmas

So, I've had some requests to see some of my modern Christmas decor (hi Sarah!) and I finally had some time to take a few photos over the weekend. Here are some of my favorite decorations and ornaments! Enjoy!


Glass Trees and Bubble Balls from CB2

A lot of my ornaments are from CB2, Target, and Pier1.

And of course, here's Wrigley by the tree (and the infamous planter of succulents). He's a pretty cute little guy, even when he's naughty. He has definitely worked hard for his lump of coal, that's for sure!
